Komodo boat charter for 18 people: Elbark Cruises has nine cabins and room for exactly 18, so the whole circle sails together. Four days for the full boat come to IDR 214,000,000 (≈ USD 13,129), or IDR 11,890,000 (≈ USD 729) each, and nobody is sent to a second vessel. The route shown is a sample.
Nine cabins for eighteen: pairs, and who pairs with whom
Eighteen people make nine pairs, and nine pairs fill nine cabins. That is the whole calculation, and it is why a circle of eighteen friends fits on Elbark without anyone splitting off. Upstairs there are three cabins, on the main deck two, and below four.
Who pairs with whom is the first argument. Couples sort themselves out; friends who once shared a tent can share a cabin. Misool, the master with its balcony and jacuzzi, is the prize, and groups settle it by drawing lots, by age or by rewarding whoever organised the date.
Sizes run from 34 sqm in Misool down to 8.75 sqm on the lower deck. Not every cabin suits every friend, and a tall guest should hear that early. With an odd number, ask us how the cabins can be shared: each is for two, and the plan is agreed in writing before payment.

Eighteen guests across four, five and six days
On four days, eighteen guests pay IDR 170,000,000 (≈ USD 10,429) for the first ten and IDR 5,500,000 (≈ USD 337) for each of the remaining eight: IDR 214,000,000 (≈ USD 13,129) in all, IDR 11,890,000 (≈ USD 729) a head. Five days total IDR 248,000,000 (≈ USD 15,215), which is IDR 13,780,000 (≈ USD 845) each.
Six days are IDR 278,000,000 (≈ USD 17,055), or IDR 15,440,000 (≈ USD 947) each. Against that, three days cost IDR 9,780,000 (≈ USD 600) each. Per day, per head, every added day brings the rate down, which makes the longest plan the cheapest way to spend time on the same boat.
The total is the binding number; each person's share is rounded. Park tickets are extra, and a guide or documentation is priced on its own.

Four days or five for a circle of friends
On four days a circle of friends gets the standard route with Rinca added. Day 1 runs from Sebayur or Siaba through Taka Makassar and Manta Point to Padar. Day 2 takes in Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Pengah and Kalong. Day 3 is Rinca and Manjarite, and day 4 is Kelor and the harbour. Treat this as a sample route; the captain fixes the final order with you.
A fifth day gives Padar and Pink Beach a day of their own and spaces out the hard walks. For the boat, it costs the gap between IDR 214,000,000 (≈ USD 13,129) and IDR 248,000,000 (≈ USD 15,215).
In the end friends decide on leave and money. If four days is all anyone can spare, take four. If most of you can manage a week, tell us and we will price six.

Pickup at 08:30 on day 1 is the one fixed hour of an open trip; a private charter's pickup time is set with your date. Every other time on this page is a planning guide, and the captain sets the stop order on the day.
Karaoke night, the sky deck and the quiet corners
Movie and karaoke entertainment lives in the main-deck lounge. No volume or finishing time is promised; the party and the captain agree that on the night, and the only other guests aboard are your own friends.
Up top and on the main deck are the sky deck and the sunbathing areas. The bow has a relax area and the after deck a lounge, and outdoor dining sits under a canopy. Eighteen people can fill all of it on a good afternoon, and someone still finds a corner to read in.
On a long charter those corners matter. Cabins are for sleeping; the spare spots on deck are where a friend slips off to be alone for a while.
Who organises, who collects, who pays when
Pick one organiser. They gather every name as the passport spells it, any children's ages and the cabin pairs, and send the lot in a single message. Changes travel the same way, so the written plan never splinters into three versions. Chasing eighteen people for passport spellings is the hardest job of the whole booking; start early.
Once the plan is confirmed in writing, a 50% deposit is due, and the rest 30 days before sailing. Moving the date costs IDR 500,000. Settle among yourselves who sends the money, and name that person when you write.
Should Elbark be unable to sail your dates, the group keeps them aboard another phinisi, same class or better, without paying more, or has every payment returned within 14 days.

How much does a boat for 18 cost?
On Elbark a full party of 18 pays IDR 176,000,000 (≈ USD 10,798) for three days and IDR 214,000,000 (≈ USD 13,129) for four. Five days cost IDR 248,000,000 (≈ USD 15,215), six IDR 278,000,000 (≈ USD 17,055). Not included: park tickets, a guide, documentation. For 2027 the current list stands until a new one is issued.
Can 18 people share one boat?
Yes, and no more than that. Nine cabins for two each make 18 the published maximum: three cabins upstairs, two on the main deck, four below. A nineteenth person cannot come on this boat, so a larger circle has to trim the guest list.
Who counts as a guest above 10?
Guests eleven to eighteen. The boat price includes the first ten. Each one after adds a fixed sum: IDR 5,500,000 (≈ USD 337) on four days, IDR 6,000,000 (≈ USD 368) on five and IDR 6,000,000 (≈ USD 368) on six. Children of 3 and over count at the full fare.
Can we pay in parts?
There are two payments: a 50% deposit to reserve the boat, and the balance 30 days before departure. Whether a group can send its share in one transfer or several is worth asking in your first message; the answer comes in writing.
