What the photographs show, and what they do not

Updated 27 October 2026

Elbark Cruises photos of the cabins and decks come in sets. There is one set for each cabin type, six frames of the lounge, dining and deck spaces, and an aerial view of the two-masted hull. Where two of the 9 cabins share a set, the caption says so.

Cabin photographs, upper deck to lower

The photographs run from the top of the boat to the bottom. Misool has the largest set, ten frames of the bed, a work desk, the bathroom with its freestanding bath and the balcony with the round wooden jacuzzi. One more frame shows the jacuzzi tub on the deck beside the cabin window.

Weh has four frames: a bathroom with a freestanding tub under a window, and the bed with its carved panels and large windows. Selayar has five, among them the bed with its carved panel, a teak work table and a bathroom with a rain shower. Toraja has six, with a narrow cabin, a double bed, a long timber bench and a small round porthole. Savu has five, including the curved hull wall over the bed.

Below, the gallery groups them by type. Each caption names the cabin it belongs to.

Lounge, dining and the sky deck

Six frames show the shared spaces. One is the indoor lounge, with a long sofa and a teak coffee table. Another is the open-air dining table beside a cushioned banquette. There are also the indoor dining room, a daybed on the foredeck, a daybed on the deck with low islands beyond the rail, and the upper-deck loungers beside the wheelhouse.

Furniture and light are what the photographs show. They do not show seat counts, and we give none. A party of eighteen can read the spaces as rooms to spread out in: the dining room and lounge on the main deck, the relax area on the bow, and the lounge area on the after deck. Sky deck and sunbathing areas sit on the main and upper decks. Together they mean that nobody has to stay in one place for a whole afternoon.

How to read these photographs

The boat's own gallery shows one set of photographs for each cabin type. That gives five sets for nine cabins. The partner cabins, Mentawai, Rote, Alor and Banda Neira, have no frames under their own name. For these four a photo of the same cabin type is shown instead: Weh stands in for Mentawai, Selayar for Rote, Toraja for Alor and Savu for Banda Neira.

Twenty activity frames come from trips in Komodo, and the atmosphere is theirs, not the boat's. The aerial view of the hull is the boat. The deck plans are not in the gallery, and the vessel page says which cabin sits on which deck. A photograph shows a cabin on a good day; the sizes and the fares are in the cabin cards.

FAQ

Which cabin is in each photo?

Each caption names the cabin. Misool has ten frames and a jacuzzi frame, Weh four, Selayar five, Toraja six and Savu five. Mentawai, Rote, Alor and Banda Neira are shown by a photograph of the same cabin type.

Are the photos recent?

They come from the boat's own gallery, published in 2024. The photographs show the cabins and spaces as the boat presented them. We hold no newer set, and we do not claim a change we have not seen.

Do partner cabins look the same?

Partner cabins share a cabin type, so a photograph of the same type stands in for them. Weh and Mentawai are on the upper deck at 13.6 sqm and Selayar and Rote on the main deck at 9.24 sqm. Toraja and Alor, and Banda Neira and Savu, are on the lower deck at 8.75 sqm each.

Can I see the deck plan?

The deck plans are not in the gallery. Deck by deck: the upper deck holds Misool, Weh and Mentawai; the main deck holds Selayar and Rote beside the dining room and lounge; the lower deck holds Toraja, Alor, Banda Neira and Savu.
