Four days: the third day finally has nothing to catch
Updated 27 October 2026
Komodo 4D3N private charter on Elbark Cruises: four days, the whole boat and nine cabins for up to 18 guests. The price is IDR 170,000,000 (≈ USD 10,429) for the first ten and IDR 5,500,000 (≈ USD 337) for each guest after that. What follows is a sample route; the captain fixes the final order with you.
Four sample days, the sequence left to the captain
Read these four days as a sample route. Four days and three nights come with a price but no stop list, so the plan below uses the standard 3-day stops with Rinca added. The order you actually sail is agreed with the captain and sent to you in writing ahead of payment.
The first two days mirror the standard plan. Day 1: Sebayur or Siaba, Taka Makassar, Manta Point, Padar. Day 2: Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Pengah, Kalong. Then the plan opens up. Day 3 belongs to Rinca and Manjarite, and on day 4 Kelor comes before a midday return to Labuan Bajo.
Weather has a vote at every stop. All three nights are aboard, and the captain chooses each evening's bay with the forecast in hand. Your pickup hour is fixed with your date; treat the open trip's 08:30 as a reference, not a promise for your party.

Stops that can swap places on the day: Manta Point ⇄ Taka Makassar.
Pickup at 08:30 on day 1 is the one fixed hour of an open trip; a private charter's pickup time is set with your date. Every other time on this page is a planning guide, and the captain sets the stop order on the day.
The third day: Rinca at first light, Manjarite after lunch
Day 3 is the day a short plan never gets. On a 3-day trip the third morning is spent zipping bags. Here it has no fixed hour at all. Rinca comes first, with a park ranger choosing the trail, and Manjarite waits until after lunch.
Between them lies a stretch of nothing in particular. Lunch runs long. Someone takes the sundeck, someone swims off the stern, someone sleeps in a cabin of their own. The teenagers commandeer the paddleboard and the canoe while the others have the sundeck to themselves. Nobody is asked to be ready in ten minutes.
Call it the day off the clock; it is what the extra night pays for. The Rinca walk crosses dry ground behind a ranger, and the dragons there are wild. What the morning shows is down to the ranger and the captain, and no sighting is promised.
The fourth morning: a last hill at Kelor, then the harbour
Kelor has the last morning. It is a small hilly island. The viewpoint over the bay is a short, steep scramble on dry ground, 15 to 30 minutes in shoes that grip. Come down, swim once more, and the boat points for home.
By midday you are back in Labuan Bajo, and the drop-off runs to your hotel, the airport or anywhere in the city area. Keep day 4 flights to 14:00 or later. Eighteen people and their luggage take a while to come ashore, and the margin is what saves the connection.
An earlier flight for one of the party goes in your first message. The final morning is then shaped around that departure time, and the plan reaches you in writing before payment.
Four days priced for the vessel and for each guest
Up to 10 guests, the boat is IDR 170,000,000 (≈ USD 10,429). Guests eleven to 18 add IDR 5,500,000 (≈ USD 337) apiece. A party of twelve pays IDR 181,000,000 (≈ USD 11,104), which is IDR 15,080,000 (≈ USD 925) each. A full boat of eighteen pays IDR 214,000,000 (≈ USD 13,129), or IDR 11,890,000 (≈ USD 729) each.
Per day, per head, four days undercut three. For twelve guests the 4-day share is IDR 15,080,000 (≈ USD 925); the 3-day share is IDR 12,420,000 (≈ USD 762). Divide each by its days and the extra day turns out cheaper than any of the first three.
Park tickets are never in the price. Nor are a guide or any photo and video work; ask, and each is priced on its own. Three nights also bring a free beach dinner setup, which a 3-day trip misses by one night. A 2027 start is priced on the current list until a new one is issued.

Three days' worth of stops that four days no longer skip
Lay the standard 3-day route next to this one. Its first day carries Sebayur or Siaba, Taka Makassar, Manta Point and Padar; its second carries Pink Beach, Komodo, Pengah and Kalong. On the third morning it has room only for Kelor, Manjarite and the quay.
What three days would cut is Rinca, entirely, and the slack around every other stop. Four days return the Rinca walk, a whole afternoon for Manjarite and the long swim at Taka Makassar that a tight day trims.
The extra night buys less a new place than more time at the old ones. Padar can wait for the heat to ease. Pink Beach can be a morning instead of a stop. And if the tide argues for Manta Point first, the captain can swap it with Taka Makassar, because nothing is queuing behind them.
Four days exist only as a private charter
You will not find a 4-day open trip. Shared sailings are 3 days and 2 nights, on Fridays and some Mondays, sold per cabin. Four days come only as a charter, and with that come a start on any day the boat is free, your own stop order and nobody aboard you did not invite.
Booking starts with a WhatsApp: head count, dates, and the age of anyone under 12. A written cabin plan comes back. Your dates are held once the 50% deposit lands; the balance follows 30 days before sailing.
If Elbark cannot leave harbour on your dates, an equal or better-class phinisi sails them at no extra cost. Prefer your money back? The full amount is refunded within 14 days.

FAQ
Is the 4-day route fixed?
No. Only the 3-day route has a fixed stop list, so these four days are a sample made from its stops plus Rinca. You settle the final order with the captain, who weighs weather and tide, and it comes to you in writing before you pay.
How much does each guest pay above 10?
From the eleventh guest up to the eighteenth, each adds IDR 5,500,000 (≈ USD 337) to the boat price of IDR 170,000,000 (≈ USD 10,429). Fourteen guests pay IDR 192,000,000 (≈ USD 11,779) in all, which is IDR 13,710,000 (≈ USD 841) each. The total is the figure that counts; the share per guest is rounded.
Is there a 4-day shared trip?
No. Shared sailings last 3 days and 2 nights, sold per cabin, Fridays and some Mondays. For four days you take the whole boat as a private charter, from IDR 170,000,000 (≈ USD 10,429) with up to 10 guests, starting any day it is free.
How does the fourth morning go?
Kelor: a short, steep walk to the viewpoint over the bay, then a final swim. The boat is back at Labuan Bajo around midday. The captain adjusts the plan to the sea, and we plan the morning backwards from the earliest flight in your party.
Are four days a lot for small children?
Not for children who love to swim; every day has a long afternoon on board for it. Babies and toddlers to age 2 ride free; at 3 the adult fare starts. Padar and Rinca are steps and dirt paths, so tell us the ages and we plan around them. Ask us about cots and child seats.
When can we fly out on day 4?
Anything from 14:00. A 4-day charter docks around midday, and 18 people with bags take time to clear the harbour and reach the terminal. If your party has an earlier flight, tell us when you write and we plan the final morning around it.
