Elbark Cruises
The whole boat for 1 to 18 guests, from two nights to six
Updated 27 October 2026
A private phinisi charter from Labuan Bajo for a large group puts all of Elbark Cruises in your hands, for anything from 2 days to 6. Three days are IDR 140,000,000 (≈ USD 8,589) with up to 10 guests aboard. Each guest past the tenth costs IDR 4,500,000 (≈ USD 276), up to a ceiling of 18.
A rate for each length, covering the first ten guests
Elbark is priced as one boat. The rate is flat from 1 guest to 10, so five people pay what ten pay, and there are five lengths to choose from: 2 days and 1 night, 3 and 2, 4 and 3, 5 and 4, 6 and 5. The tables show each rate and the share per guest at several party sizes.
Start in the middle of the ladder. Five days cost IDR 200,000,000 (≈ USD 12,270) for up to ten guests; six days cost IDR 230,000,000 (≈ USD 14,110). A party of ten that adds the sixth day pays the gap between those two lines and nothing else, because the boat and its nine cabins are already booked for you.
Per day, per head, the long plans come out ahead. Eighteen guests pay IDR 15,440,000 (≈ USD 947) each for six days and IDR 9,780,000 (≈ USD 600) each for three. Ten guests pay IDR 20,000,000 (≈ USD 1,227) each for five days and IDR 12,000,000 (≈ USD 736) each for two. The boat does not change; the bill is simply split over more days.
A charter starts on any day the boat is free, set with your date. For 2027 the present list holds until a new one appears, and your price reaches you in writing ahead of any payment.

Guests 11 to 18, added one by one
Guest eleven is where the arithmetic starts to matter. On three days, every head from there to 18 costs IDR 4,500,000 (≈ USD 276). The 4-day plan adds IDR 5,500,000 (≈ USD 337). On 5 days the figure is IDR 6,000,000 (≈ USD 368), and on 6 days it is IDR 6,000,000 (≈ USD 368). The 2-day plan adds IDR 4,000,000 (≈ USD 245).
One sum, worked through. Eight guests above ten, at IDR 4,500,000 (≈ USD 276) each, added to IDR 140,000,000 (≈ USD 8,589), make IDR 176,000,000 (≈ USD 10,798) for the boat on the 3-day plan. Twelve guests on four days make IDR 181,000,000 (≈ USD 11,104). Nothing is rounded in the boat price; only the share per guest is rounded.
Each cabin sleeps 2, so the head count decides how many doors open. Ten guests use five cabins. Eighteen fill all nine: the master and its two neighbours up top, a pair on the main deck, four below. An odd number needs a word with us first. Each cabin is for 2, and we confirm in writing how they are shared before you pay.

Inside the charter rate, and outside it
For the rate you get the boat with its nine air-conditioned cabins, every activity on the itinerary, meals on board, snacks and beverages, and free-flow coffee, tea and water. It also covers snorkelling gear, a paddleboard and a canoe, local Wi-Fi, movie and karaoke entertainment, a personal tumbler to take home, and pickup and drop-off in the city area.
Park tickets, the drone ticket among them, are paid separately and never folded into a boat price. Flights, travel insurance and personal expenses are not included, and neither is alcohol.
No guide comes with a charter, and neither does a photographer or videographer. Ask, and we quote either one separately, so the party decides who joins with the cost already known. Shared-trip fares work the other way round; the comparison page explains both.

Three nights or more: a beach dinner at no charge
The offer is a free beach dinner setup on any charter of at least 3 nights. Three nights means the 4-day, 5-day and 6-day plans. The 3-day plan has two nights and sits below the minimum.
Setup is free. What is served at the beach dinner, where the boat anchors that evening and at what hour are settled with the captain that day, with the weather having the last word. Anything more ambitious, a seafood dinner for instance, is quoted on request and agreed in writing first.
Three or four nights on one boat call for one evening that feels different. On the beach the whole party eats away from the dining room, with Elbark lit up a short tender ride offshore. Plan it with the captain once the route is settled, and keep it for a night when the sea is calm.
If Elbark stays in port: a like-for-like phinisi or your payment returned
If Elbark cannot sail, your dates survive. Engine failure, a harbour master's order and a park order are each covered. Either a replacement phinisi, no lower in class than Elbark, takes you out on the original dates at no added cost, or the full payment comes back to you within 14 days. You choose.
This matters because eighteen people rarely manage to move a week of leave at once. Keeping the dates and changing the boat is the fix for that. The guarantee does not cover bad weather on the day: the captain decides what the sea allows, and the stops move rather than the dates.
Message, plan in writing, deposit
Open with a WhatsApp: how many are coming, for how many days, and around which dates. Back comes a cabin plan with one figure the organiser can forward to everyone. Nothing is owed until that plan is confirmed in writing.
The deposit is 50% of the charter price and reserves the boat for your dates. What remains falls due 30 days before you sail. Moving the date is free up to 30 days before you sail and costs IDR 500,000 after that, and the refund steps are on the booking page. Children up to 2 sail free alongside a parent or guardian. From 3 they pay as adults and count as guests in the sums above.

Fourteen guests pay IDR 158,000,000 (≈ USD 9,693) in all, which is IDR 11,290,000 (≈ USD 693) each. Park tickets, a guide and documentation are never in that figure.

What is included in a private yacht charter?
The whole boat with nine air-conditioned cabins, activities on the itinerary, meals, snacks, coffee, tea and water, snorkelling gear, a paddleboard and a canoe, local Wi-Fi and pickup in the city area. Park tickets, flights, insurance, a guide and documentation are separate.
Does a private charter come with a guide?
No. A charter price leaves out both the guide and any photo or video work. We quote each one separately when asked, and you see the cost before saying yes. On the shared open trip a cruise director guide and a photographer are part of the cabin fare, which is a different product.

Elbark starts at IDR 120,000,000 (≈ USD 7,362) for the whole boat on a 2-day, 1-night charter with up to 10 guests, and rises with each extra night and each guest above ten. Six days cost IDR 230,000,000 (≈ USD 14,110) for up to ten. The price ladder on this page gives every length.
Can I book Elbark Cruises for 2027 already?
